A MAN has revealed how he transformed his garage into his bedroom using bargain buys.
Geraldo Carrera took to social media to show off the home transformation revealing he had to move from his bedroom.
He revealed: "I foster a few kids and ended up with no bedroom for myself.
"So decided with the help from a friend, to convert my garage into a bedroom for myself."
The selfless man was prepared to make the foster children feel as comfortable as possible while staying at his home.
The garage was filled with junk at the start but fortunately it was already insulated making it liveable for him.
He revealed the only major work he had to do was to insulate the roll up garage door to ensure it didn't get breezy.
Once he had organised the items in the garage he began to move in some clean rugs to create a carpet on the floor.
He then moved in a sold wooden bed along with a chest of drawers and an Ikea Kallax unit for extra storage.
Making the garage homely he added a gorgeous rattan egg chair to the corner of the room as well as a monstera plant for some greenery.
Finishing touches in the room included a giant dried leaf and art hung up to create a feature wall.
He added that he added a large white curtain to the garage to split it into two rooms and create a walk-in wardrobe.

People were quick to praise him for the conversion.
