WE’VE all heard that washing your everyday is a big no-no. 

Letting it get greasier supposedly gives our strands more time to soak up the natural oils produced by our scalp, leading to healthier lengths.

But according to one haircare whizz, the opposite is true.

Daniela Biah used to have a receding hairline with her tresses falling out in clumps… until she started washing it everyday. 

When shampoo became a daily ritual, she says her hair stopped shedding and her hairline started growing back.

“A clean scalp promotes better hair growth and helps to reduce hair loss. 

“Of course, everyone will require a different hair washing schedule.

“It all depends on your scalp’s needs.”

To maintain healthy hair, many women opt for washing less frequently and using dry shampoo to keep greasiness at bay. 

But this is something Daniela staunchly disagrees with after embarking on her own hair health journey. 

“Dry shampoo can leave a residue on your scalp and hair over time,” she warned.
