I’m 65 with a 6-pack – trolls say my body only looks this good because of genetics, but I work hard to look this hot
A WOMAN who is 65 and has a six pack, has hit back at trolls who claim that her figure is just due to genetics.
Stephanie, says that she is in the best shape of her life, and dedicates a lot of her time to working out in the gym.
She documents, her fitness journey on TikTok, sharing tips and advice for those who want to do the same.
Stephanie revealed that some trolls have claimed that she looks the way she does, solely because of genetics.
"I am 65 and no it's not just genetics", she hit back.
"Genetics will only get you so far. Strength training combined with proper nutrition will take you to your fitness destination."

Stephanie then shared some clips of her doing the exercises that help to keep her in shape, such as 90 degree leg presses and cable abductors.
The fitness fanatic explained that she works out her legs "hard" three times a week.
Stephanie said that she started weight training when she was 31, but when she was 62, began to lift heavier and more consistently, to "reverse the effects of age-related muscle and strength loss."
"I'm much stronger now", she said.
Stephanie insists that she hasn't had any work done to achieve her washboard abs, and says that it is all down to an increased protein intake, and lifting heavy weights.
The fitness pro loves showing off her amazing figure, by dressing in short shorts and crop tops.
TikTok users have flooded the comments sections of her videos, to share how impressed they are with her fitness levels.
Tips to age well
There are a number of habits you can take up to care for your health and wellbeing as you age.
Age UK shared the following tips:
- Do things that you enjoy everyday - whether that's cooking, seeing friends or enjoying a good book
- Stay hydrated - drink six to eight cups of water a day
- Eat plenty of fruit and veggies to lower your risk of heart disease and certain cancers, have beans, pulses, fish, eggs and meat to repair your body after injury, starchy carbs for energy dairy to help keep bones strong
- Manage long-term health conditions to prevent them progressing or having a greater impact on your health
- Quit smoking and reduce alcohol intake to no more than 14 units a week
- Make mental health a priority and get treatment for it, as it can also impact physical health
- Make sure you're getting quality sleep
- Keep socialising - and call a friend or loved one if you can't make it out the house
- Be physically active to lower the risk of depression and dementia, heart disease, stroke, Parkinson’s and some cancers
