A HAIRCARE whizz has revealed how she makes her tresses look “shinier than Cinderella’s shoes”. 

Hair-fluencer Calista has enviably shiny locks after getting on board with the glass hair trend - and it’s all thanks to her blow dry ritual that takes minutes after the shower.

The 30-year-old started looking seriously into haircare after recovering from a mobile accident.

“That took almost two years worth of treatments,” she tells Fabulous.

“Ten surgeries later, my hair fell out in chunks.

“I was determined to regrow my hair in my twenties.

“All I wished for was long, luscious hair. 

“After learning about my hair type, and experimenting with different product formulas and techniques, I finally found methods that work the best for me.”

Calista dedicates her TikTok profile to educating others on haircare and methods they can try to improve their tresses. 

That includes her glass hair routine, which she shared an in-depth tutorial on.

The California-based hair-fluencer executes the shine-boosting routine when her locks are “50% dry”.

“This is what the hot girls in China are doing to achieve glass hair,” she says.

“Instead of blow drying at high heat, we start off with hair oil and blow dry at medium heat.”

Calista warms the hair oil between her palms (you can use any) before applying it to the lengths and ends of her locks.

When her hair is “80% dry”, she works more oil through the ends and then blow dries it on a low heat. 

“And there you have it,” she adds.
