BECOMING a single parent isn't the way most of us expect having a family to go.

But one mum who happened to become single after having her daughter revealed how it's so much better than doing it in a relationship.

Leah Mogford took to social media revealing life hasn't been easier since the split.

She said: "People might not agree with the statement I'm about to make but I'ma say it anyway.

"I think being a single mum is easier than being a mum in a relationship."

The mum went on to say that it was easier for multiple reasons - one being that she wasn't constantly thinking about the labour divide between them.

"Why I have I had to sacrifice my whole life he sacrificed nothing?" she added.

She also revealed it was difficult because she was constantly thinking about what her daughter needed and he wasn't doing the same.

Leah added it was causing constant arguments and in the end, they were barely in a relationship.

Now they've broken up and are co-parenting life was much easier and the pair could have a healthy relationship again.

She continued saying that for her being a single parent was '10x easier and less stress,' adding she was 'so much happier' with it.

"For the girlies who feel like this and are still in the relationship know your worth and know it shouldn't be just you doing everything for your baby," she captioned the clip.

Plenty of mums took to the comments section and many agreed with her stance.
