A 40-YEAR-OLD woman who's been mistaken for being in her mid-20s has some makeup tricks up her sleeve.
She figured out how to combat dark under-eye circles — and she doesn't even use concealer.
Redditor explained her method in a post on the social media platform.
"Instead of concealer, use color corrector," she revealed of her under-eye trick.
"It settles so much better on me. I use a cheap [one] called LAGirl at Target.
"I’m fair-skinned, Black, and use orange and peach.

The Redditor added some other tips for a snatched under-eye, breaking down how to pick and apply the product.
"Color corrector isn’t visible if the right tone is selected," she said.

"I wear very, very minimal makeup, but can go with a full look, too.
"Don’t apply right up to the lash line.
"Do it about half a centimeter down, mostly on the soft area beneath your eye, not part of the lower lid."
She also gave some tips for keeping the under-eye area hydrated, which can prevent future caking.
"As for hydration: water (duh), a super mild/non-irritating lotion, slug eye area with Vaseline, and sleep with a bedside cool mist humidifier," she said.
Her tips clearly work, as she recalled someone guessing her age much younger.
"The other day someone couldn’t believe I'm 40. They thought 24," she said.
One person appreciated her cosmetic advice and replied to her in the comments section.
"I typically like to keep my makeup as minimal as possible but my under-eye area always needs some help," she said.
