A CULT favorite with a steep price tag may have met its match.
One woman revealed that her mother found the perfect dupe for a much more expensive body spray.
Redditor posted about their mom's Dollar Tree buy in a post on Reddit.
"I got the Sol de Janeiro 62 Pistachio and Salted Caramel Hair and Body Fragrance Mist as a gift, and though I haven’t used it yet, I think it smells awesome," she said.
"I didn’t know until after I got it that it was as coveted as it is, nor did I know the price."
Later on, she found out that her mother had made a trip to Dollar Tree.
";My mom comes home after visiting the dollar store with an exact dupe," she said.
"It does have aerosol, and like I said, I’ve never actually worn the original so I don’t know how they compare in terms of longevity, but it smells the exact same at the price of $1.25."
The spray in question was the Power Stick body spray in Brazilian Mist.
"Also, as far as I’m aware it’s not a deodorant or anything like that, just felt like mentioning that because it could seem that way because it’s by Power Stick."
The is sold for $38 at Sephora.
Its sweet caramel and pistachio notes have gained a cult following.
Several Redditors chimed in to give their two cents on the bargain find.
"Just bought this too and I kind of like the dupe too it’s very strong," one wrote.
They added that the smell lasted for three hours and lingered in the room they sprayed it in.
"I’m on my third can," another wrote. "It’s such a good dupe."
One shopper said that there is more to the Dollar Tree line to be on the lookout for.
"There’s apparently a body wash out there too by the same brand," they said.
"I grabbed the shower gel today," another replied. "Excited to try."

"I found it last night, it smells very good. I used it this morning, but I did layer it with my Dolce & Gabbana Devotion."
