Aldi shoppers racing to middle aisle for kids’ toys – including plushies and Bluey playsets starting at £7.99
Even the supermarket's iconic mascot Kevin the Carrot makes an appearance in one of the new Specialbuy toys
PARENTS are racing to Aldi for “adorable” new plushies and playsets.
Bosses at the budget supermarket have dubbed its new Specialbuys as perfect for “keeping your little ones occupied during the rainy weather”.

The limited edition items were dropped in the middle aisle yesterday.
But in true Specialbuy fashion, they’re likely to sell out quickly and once something is gone, it’s gone for good (unless the store treats us to a one-off return).
Aldi drops Specialbuys in its middle aisle every Thursday and Sunday.
This Thursday’s offering has parents fawning over the “super cute” plushies and “adorable” soft toys.

Among the products is Little Town Snack Bag Soft Toys for £7.99 each.
The toys come in the style of Kevin the Carrot snack bags and Aldi’s Snackrite Crisps - but rather than food inside, it’s cuddly toys.
“Now you can take your favourite Aldi characters out and about,” bosses said.
“With four mini plushies that can be zipped up to keep them safe when on the move, your little one can let their imagination explore with endless fun.”

There’s also backpacks with removal teddies attached to them for £12.99 each.
The Removable Toy Backpack has options of Peppa Pig, Paddington Bear and Gabby's.

Furthermore, the £9.99 Bluey Playset has three variations and is perfect for children aged three and older.
“Your little one will love creating scenes from their favourite episodes,” Aldi bosses said.
“Great for exploring their imagination and developing motor skills.”
The Bluey scenes to choose from include the Farmers Market, Helicopter or Ice Cream Shop.
