A RED-HEADED woman has shared the low-effort haircare routine that revitalized her ruined ends.

Reddit user ManyLintRollers doesn't want to have to spend too much time on her hair.

"I am a lazy, lazy woman; so my routine is simple," she wrote in a .

The 55-year-old shared how she grew her locks out and repaired her damaged ends from years of heat styling and coloring her hair.

COLOR CHAOS

For years, she constantly dyed her natural red hair to conceal the pesky grays popping through.

In 2021, she said she decided to stop coloring and just let it "be gray."

"Now it’s a mix of dark blonde and white. It looks white in some lights, blonde in others," she added.

It took her about two years to grow out her natural color that she said she now loves.

The Reddit user described her hair as 1C with "fine, textured strands" that looked like "a frizzy dry disaster."

"I’ve had shoulder length or shorter for most of my life. My hair was so fine and easily damaged that the ends would be all crispy and gross by the time they got past my shoulders," she said.

Previously, she kept it collarbone length and trimmed off the dyed ends, but "once it was 100% virgin hair," she decided to "grow it long."
