A CREATIVE woman revealed how she keeps her body odor at bay without applying deodorant and it's partially due to a budget buy.

She paired the skincare trick with a homemade spritz that gives your armpits a floral scent.

Reddit user AerynSunnInDelight revealed how she combated her body odor in a .

First and foremost, she wanted people to know that "deodorants are not perfumes."

"They're here to counteract the smell from the bacteria released when you sweat," she explained.

She added that body odor is completely normal, but "keeping it to nill is the goal."

She said your diet and water intake also contribute to how you smell.

There are several ways to always have a fresh fragrance that doesn't break the bank.

She shared the specific regimen she follows as well as the DIY mixture she uses to always smell her best.

First, she said to spray your armpit with a mix of rose water with real pulp-free lemon and lime juice and tea tree essential oil.

Then, rub the alum stone onto your armpits "until the water mix doesn't drip anymore."
