I work on fashion shoots and we have tricks to stop sweat from ruining the clothes – try swapping out your underwear
THERE'S nothing like dripping beads of sweat — or worse, darkening sweat stains — to ruin an outfit.
Fortunately, a makeup artist with experience working on fashion photoshoots is spilling their secrets to wick and disguise that extra moisture.
Redditor dished the details in a comment on the social media platform.
"In fashion shoots, we often tape sanitary towels to areas that sweat using the same surgical tape you tape IV cannulas down with," she said.
She also recommended "boob tape," an alternative to wearing a bra, for taping down the pads.

Her advice came in response to a bride-to-be begging for help for her big day.

The wedding dress she picked is a bit heavy — and it's posed a problem.
"I’ve realized that even just wearing it for five minutes to have the dress pinned and measured makes sweat drip down my leg," the bride wrote.
Her fashion shoot savior had a special tip just for that.
"You can try lightweight cotton bloomer-type underwear from theatrical outfitters or running shorts that wick moisture," she said.

"People tend to be 'loose' or 'tight' undergarment preference and you need to play around to decide which you are."
She recommended consulting a professional to find a slip to wear underneath clothing as well.
"It prevents sweat staining or odors on stuff you can’t clean easily, but also soaks up sweat, like how wearing a [tank top] under a button-up in heat does for men."
Or do away with underwear altogether and swap it for swim gear.
"A lot of people wear swimwear instead of underwear as it copes better with getting damp," she said.
CHAT ABOUT CHAFING
Sweat can also lead to uncomfortable chafing, but she has another tip that can help.
"But also check out one of those Speed Stick-type Bodyglide products runners use," she said.
"They are much more sweat-resistant than chafing cream and less likely to stain a dress. Patch test first though."

Other Redditors gave their thoughts on her style suggestions.
One agreed with her use for crystal deodorants.
