A Victoria Beckham white bow mini dress that the Channel 4 star wore to the Scottish Fashion Awards in 2016 is also up for grabs for just £50, and would be perfect for any bride on the hunt for a hen do outfit.

The I'm a Celeb winner says it's best to model the items yourself, rather than take a lacklustre snap of them lying on the floor or hanging up.

And she swears by her "full outfit" hack to boost sales.

TOWIE's Sam Faiers admitted that she sells piles of freebies on Vinted, most of which still have the labels on.

Her assistant Bella runs her page for her, posting all the listings and packaging them up.

Meanwhile, sister Billie made an incredible £165 in just a few hours after joining the app to make room in her wardrobe.

Elsewhere, Gogglebox star Roisin Kelly has pleaded for people to buy her old clothes to help her fund a dream £1,000 experience.

Online marketplaces like Vinted and Depop have millions of users across the UK, with the cost-of-living crisis only increasing their popularity.

Financial pressures in British homes saw sales of second-hand goods jump by 15 per cent to £21 billion in 2022.

Do you need to pay tax on items sold on Vinted?

QUICK facts on tax from the team at Vinted...

  • The only time that an item might be taxable is if it sells for more than £6,000 and there is profit (sells for more than you paid for it). Even then, you can use your capital gains tax-free allowance of £3,000 to offset it.
  • Generally, only business sellers trading for profit (buying goods with the purpose of selling for more than they paid for them) might need to pay tax. Business sellers who trade for profit can use a tax-free allowance of £1,000, which has been in place since 2017.
