A WOMAN has revealed how she made £50,000 in one day from selling nappies.
Aami had an epiphany after she gave birth to her first child in 2020.
When she was in the hospital, staff gave her disposable nappies, premature nappies and newborn nappies, and nothing worked.
"He was leaking out of his nappies", she told YouTuber Davie Fogarty.
Aaami spoke to her friends and they told her that this was just what happened with disposable nappies.
When Aami got home from the hospital, with a 12 hour old baby, she decided to start sewing her own nappies for him.

"I knew there had to be something better", she said.
That same day, she decided to start her own business Mimi and Co.
At first, Aami was sewing the nappies in her own kitchen, and then selling them to friends and family, and local people through Facebook Marketplace.
"I was probably sewing 15 nappies a day and I knew then that I was on to something", she said.

When the orders got too much for her to handle, she outsourced her production and set up her own Facebook page to sell the nappies on.
Just a few hours after the website had launched, Aami sold out of 150 units of nappies.
Aami said that what sets her reusable nappies apart from the rest is that they are designed to fit children from newborn to toilet training.
"This means that you can use the same nappy for your entire journey, and it is comfortable and more environmentally sustainable", she said.
Aami said that customers were so happy with her product, as she had helped to solve a massive problem that they were struggling with.
Around 18 months ago, Aami started using TikTok to promote her business, and her content has had 15 million views.
How to start your own business
Dragon's Den star Theo Paphitis revealed his tips for budding entrepreneurs:
- One of the biggest barriers aspiring entrepreneurs and business owners face is a lack of confidence. You must believe in your idea — even more than that, be the one boring your friends to death about it.
- Never be afraid to make decisions. Once you have an idea, it’s the confidence to make decisions that is crucial to starting and maintaining a business.
- If you don’t take calculated risks, you’re standing still. If a decision turns out to be wrong, identify it quickly and deal with it if you can. Failing that, find someone else who can.
- It’s OK not to get it right the first time. My experience of making bad decisions is what helped develop my confidence, making me who I am today.
- Never underestimate the power of social media, and remember the internet has levelled the playing field for small businesses.
- Don’t forget to dream. A machine can’t do that!
She also took her business on Shark Tank (the Australian version of Dragon's Den) and this caused her business to soar.
She even made £50,000 in one day back in April.
Aami has no employees helping her out, and runs the entire business herself, from her home.
