''Yes, you can actually turn back the time with skin treatments, which is kind of new, I would say.
''Like, if you asked me this five years ago, I would've said 'Sorry, the damage is kind of done now and I can certainly make it not worse'.''

''What happens with ageing is that mitochondria (an organelle found in the cells of most eukaryotes, such as animals, plants and fungi) get overwhelmed, they're less good at producing energy, they get a bit faulty.''

''Our skin actually has the capability to renew itself by removing cellular debris, its garbage - it's almost like this detox of each cell.
''That is done with numerous things, like intermittent fasting; time interval eating where you try to eat within a certain period, like eight hours, six hours.
''That fasting period before that really does your cellular renewal - so that's why I think you can actually turn back ageing.''
Another thing worth incorporating in your lifestyle is something called protein cycling, where you consume a heavier protein diet one day and then less the next.
