I was 8XL and weighed 57 STONE – I couldn’t even fit in a car & my organs were being crushed but now I’m unrecognisable
A SIZE 8XL woman who could barely fit into a car shed 40 stone after doctors admitted removing a tumour was impossible due to her size.
Amanda Register's womb cancer diagnosis sparked a five year weight loss journey that saw her drop from 57 to just 14 stone.
The 42-year-old said medics explained while turning over on the operating table, her excessive body fat would squish her organs.
She said while appearing on Family by the Ton: "My entire weight would crush my organs and I would stop breathing until I died."
Amanda says she struggled with morbid obesity from the age of three.
She had gastric sleeve surgery to help shed the pounds and worked tirelessly at the gym and on her diet.

Amanda said: "In 2018, I made an important decision to change my life.
"I started my journey in 2018 weighing over 800 pounds. Today I weigh 200 pounds.
"I had to completely change my life and my relationship with food and work hard at the gym. But I did it!
"I want other people to know that it's never too late to get your life back."
Following her successful weight loss, doctors managed to remove the cancerous tumour.
They also got rid of the excess skin left behind after her huge body transformation.
Amanda often posts inspirational messages to her thousands of social media followers.
She penned on X: "I'm starting to raise awareness about the fight against obesity.
"I also hope to help obese youth by offering weekly healthy snack boxes that parents can pick up for free, and by organizing walks and community activity events and healthy cooking classes.
"I also hope to help the youth that are obese by eventually having weekly healthy snack boxes parents can pick up at no charge, community activity events, and healthy cooking classes."
She recently completed did her first 5K and regularly works out in the gym.
The American now works part-time in a doctor's office in Georgia.
