Cara and Nathan welcomed their first child, a son named Freddie, in 2017, not long after they won the show.

She described him as a "happy mistake", but said that she was 27 at the time, which she feels was too young to have a child.

"If I had my time again I wouldn't start having kids until I was 30", she told the Made By Mammas podcast.

Cara revealed that after becoming pregnant, she began to "spiral", after learning that she would have to leave her glamorous lifestyle of wearing bikinis behind.

"I felt quite lost for a while", she said.

Cara said that she had to mute a lot of people on Instagram, as she felt upset seeing pictures of people all glammed up at events.

However, she revealed that one day she had an "epiphany";.

"I thought, why am I trying to compete with all these people because that's not where I am in my life", she said.

"I'm now a mum, I've got a normal mum body and it took that change in my brain to realise that this is my life now and I should be happy."

Cara said that this change in her way of thinking helped her to become much happier.

She said that it took a long time for her to get her head around being a mother, and the responsibility that comes with it but became much happier when she came to terms with it.

During her pregnancy with Freddie, now 7, Cara and Nathan split up, as Cara was feeling lonely after moving to Essex, and she said that Nathan didn't understand her.

However, she said that this was the best thing that ever happened to them.

She said that they had just stayed together for work purposes and had been arguing a lot.
