Primark, which is famous for offering everyday affordability on items from fashion to homeware, has recently done a collaboration with Kappa.

In the eighties and nineties, sports brand Kappa gained popularity after winning sponsorships with elite football teams including Juventus, AC Milan, and FC Barcelona

This meant that many Brits who were growing up in that era, most likely owned something from the sports brand.

Now, Primark is bringing the brand back to everyone's attention by doing a collaboration with them.

"Kappa was created as a sub-brand of the Aquila brand as a result of a production problem that had caused a loss in sales.

"The production problem was fixed and all new product was stamped with a K, standing for the German word for control, Kontrollen.  Sales surged and in 1967 the K was formally called Kappa, the Greek letter for K."

Another added: “It's 2024 folks."

A third commented: “Back in my day you went to school wearing kappa you got beat up.”

Whilst someone else said: “Who wears kappa in 2024?”

But it wasn’t all negative, as some were happy about the fashion from the “nineties being back.”
