A MUM has been slammed over plans to name her baby after a number that is important to her.
Ana, 35 is currently eight months pregnant and unfortunately suffered a number of miscarriages before her current pregnancy.
Taking to Reddit, Ana's sister-in-law revealed that during her baby shower, she had found out the unique name that Ana had picked out for the baby.
She said: "They want to name the baby Five as that is the number of years they have tried to conceive."
Ana said that the name is "a reminder of the baby's older siblings" and of her and her partner's infertility struggles.
However, her sister-in-law pointed out that the child may see the name as a "burden".

Ana became very upset and told her sister-in-law that she had ruined the baby shower.
The sister-in-law said: " My husband agrees with me about the name Five, but he thinks it wasn’t our place to say anything because Ana and his brother had been through a lot of infertility struggles.
"He said that I should just let her have the name as there are worse names she could have picked.
"Five is a unique name but I was just trying to point out the meaning of the name they had picked, and the implications of it."

The woman then asked for advice from Reddit users, who flooded to the comments section to share their thoughts.
Many agreed that the meaning behind the name was not appropriate to give to a baby.
One person said: "Naming a child after the saddest period of your married life is a bit dark."
A second person said: "It's a heck of a thing to make a reminder off and will be rough for the kid to grow up in that shadow."
A third person said: "A number for a name feels so cold and detached, like they're naming a piece of furniture or something."
