A PERFUME lover with a stash of scents has shared which dupe is the most similar to a high-end designer buy - get a whiff of that.
She was a big fan of the frugal fragrance, which made her feel extra luxe.
Redditor knows that not all dupes are created equal.
"I have tons from Oil Perfumery and generally love them, though I’ve had some duds too," she said.
She didn't shy away from letting others in on her great-smelling secret.
"Their Black Orchid is indistinguishable from the gold Tom Ford bottle and I feel very fancy wearing it!" she said.
The scents might have been similar, but the price was not.
, which sells for $15.95, offers the luxe scent she loves for less - much less.
The rollerball features notes of truffle, gardenia, jasmine, lotus, amber, white musk, lotus, black currant and Amalfi lemon.
The perfume is also just a fraction of the cost of the original Tom Ford Black Orchid Eau de Parfum, which is available at Ulta for $240.

The buy is described as both "modern" and "timeless."
She also had some other favorite fragrance finds.
"Zara has some great dupes, with Golden Decade being outstanding," she said.
She knew just what the scent was most similar to - and was equally impressed with the quality.
"It’s a Libre Intense clone and it lasts," she said.
And that was just the beginning of the scent steals she had on her list.
"Sublime Epoch is their Armani My Way and it’s excellent," she said.

She also wanted to try another fragrance she had heard great things about.
"I’m hoping they will bring back Majestic Opulence which is supposed to be a dupe for La Vie Est Belle Intensement," she said.
An honest review of another couple of luxury perfume dupes would save you some dough.
"I have Woman Gold which is extremely similar to Lady Million, however, the longevity is poor," she said.
"Club de Nuit Intense Woman is amazing but more feminine leaning than Noir de Noir, which I prefer!"
She also explained how she has turned many of the rollerballs into sprays, something which has "improved projection significantly."
Their trick involved buying bottles from Amazon and using grain alcohol in a 25/75 oil-to-alcohol ratio.
Black Orchid was one scent she believed had particularly good projection.
"I’ve received compliments from several rollers so people smell them," she said.

"The way I wear them is I apply the oil then spread with body lotion. It feels luxurious and then I’m wearing amazing scented body lotion," she added.
"Lasting power is typically very good with their product."
