A BEAUTY lover has shared how she uses a card trick to make some mascara application magic.
She swore that the tip gave a big boost to her eyelash-batting game.
Redditor will never go back after discovering the easy eye-popping mascara method.
"I learned the mascara card trick from a really old [YouTube] video years and years ago, and I still have not found another tool or technique that works just as well or better," she said.
She was certainly using her cards for more than playing games.
"The card trick involves using a business card to pull your eyelid up as you’re applying mascara," she said.
"This makes it so you can get it all the way to the root and it also deposits any extra on the card rather than the eyelid," she continued.
She also made clear that it won't ruin your eyeshadow look.
You might want to be more careful if you're wearing another eye product, however.
"The edge of the card goes right above the lash line, so it will mess with your eyeliner if it’s not dry or if it’s smudgy," she said.

She acknowledged that those who struggle with oily skin around the eye area might have a "different experience."
"Eyeshadow really sticks to my skin type for some reason," she said.
She also wants you to be aware of one potential issue when using the business card tip.
"This technique really opens up your eye as you’re applying it," she said.
This means "extra space to accidentally poke your eyeball with the mascara wand."
She noted how the best way to perfect the method was to "keep practicing."
It seemed she wasn't the only one in on the mascara-applying secret.
"I’ve been doing this for probably a decade!" said another Redditor.
They even had their own trick up their beauty magician sleeve.
"I save thick tags from new clothes so I have a fresh stock of cards to use," they added.
"Just got a handful from a Target clothes haul and am stoked, haha!"

Another user was eager to practice the technique in time for a big occasion.
"I’m going to try this, I have a wedding this weekend," they commented.
