A BEAUTY fan has shared the timeless trick she learned from a Hollywood glam girl from the mid-20th century that goes against gravity.
She said she has used the skincare tip for years, and it also works well with makeup.
Reddit user has had a staple technique in her routine since she was a teenager.
She revealed how a Hollywood beauty icon's interview about her skincare regimen resonated with her.
She admitted that she couldn't remember if it was Bridget Fonda or Julie Andrews.
But there was one thing she did take away from the film stars.
"They said 'Never forget your neck' when moisturizing and applying foundation," she added.
Even though this is a common practice among many, it wasn't so commonplace in her life, at the time.
"I saw friends who would stop at the jawline with foundation and have a sort of mask look going on," she said.
She set herself apart because she "always remembered" to apply and blend her creams, and sometimes foundation, into her neckline.

The Redditor made sure that she "didn't have the same" look.
She admitted that she rarely bothered with foundation back then and does not wear it all anymore as an adult.
"When it comes to my face moisturizer, I wear it right to the collarbone," she explained.
Other Redditors were familiar with the tip.
"'Take it to the t**s' is my favorite line to remember for skincare," one commented.
The original poster also shared an anti-aging application technique when putting on products.
Dot your cream around your face and neck and always blend it upwards.
"Never drag the skin down, don’t give gravity any help! Always blend it up!" she said.
