I bagged a sugar daddy 30 years older than me – it was all about the money at first but now we’re in love
A WOMAN who fell in love with her sugar daddy reckons being attracted to his money led to a priceless relationship.
Nova Hawthorne, 29, has been with partner James, 63, for five years after meeting online.
The model, from Melbourne, Australia, was showered with gifts as her older boyfriend splashed huge sums of money on her happiness.
But it quickly grew into something more and she didn’t care about the big age gap.
Nova said: “There was chemistry right from the start, even on the first night when he was a client and I was a worker.
“Then it became clear to me in the first few weeks that he understood me - he ‘saw’ me for who I was - and at that point the whole thing fitted together really easily.
“The more time we spent together chatting and covering all the important topics, the more I felt attracted to him.
“We talked about the environment, our political views, conversations about society and people, we talked about justice and injustice.
“The more we talked the more it was so apparent to me that this man was not just a good human but one I found myself compatible with.
“The thing that sparked my attraction was his intellect and humanity.”
Meanwhile, Carol Kirkwood has opened up on finding love again and addressed the 14-year age gap with husband Steve.
The BBC Breakfast star, 62, married police officer Steve Randall, 48, in an intimate ceremony last year.
But after receiving "a few comments" about the age gap between them, Carol told : "If our ages were the other way around, nobody would ever mention it."
The weather presenter met the serving police officer around seven years ago.
It came after her 25-year marriage to Scottish businessman Jimmy Kirkwood came to an end in 2008.
Speaking about her first marriage, she said: "Sadly, it just ran its course and we both moved on."
Being one of eight children and coming from a large family, the presenter always wanted children but wasn't able to conceive with her first husband.
Carol added: "I’d wanted to be a mum since I was a child. And we tried everything. But it just never happened and nor could anyone tell us why. But I’ve got lots of nieces and nephews who I adore."
Despite her first marriage breaking down, Carol found love again with police officer Steve.
And she gushed: "He’s kind, intelligent, he makes me laugh – and he’s very handsome."
