I’m a burlesque dancer and wear full stage makeup – my 3-step cleansing routine removes it all, even stubborn eyeliner
A BURLESQUE dancer has shared how they remove all their makeup at the end of the day.
Their heavy-duty cleansing routine gets rid of all their stage makeup.
Redditor Just_Justine93 shared the skincare tip in a post.
They explained that their go-to product is a good cleansing balm.
"I’m a burlesque dancer and when I do shows and I'm in my full stage makeup, I do cleansing balm on dry skin then wet my skin to emulsify," they said.
The one-step product removes everything without hassle.
"Then I take a damp washcloth and wipe everything off my face," they said.
For any remaining remnants or traces of makeup, they spot-cleaned with micellar water.
"If I still see some eyeliner and mascara, I go in with the Garnier waterproof micellar water," they said.
To finish up, they double-cleansed with a foaming cleanser.

"After that I wash my face with a foaming cleanser and do the rest of my nighttime skincare," they said.
Other makeup fans agreed that cleansing balms were the move when it comes to a proper clean.
While many differed in their preference for cleansing balm brands, their techniques were identical.
"Clinique Take The Day Off cleansing balm massaged all over including on my eyelids, really taking time to make sure I massage every bit of my face well," said one commenter.
"[I] remove it with a hot cloth wrung out in very warm water, keep rinsing the cloth out until all the balm is gone.
"Soak the cloth in very warm water and use it to remove my mascara (tubing mascara for the win).
"Splash with cold water, then a second cleanse with Soy Fresh cleanser to shift anything still hanging about.
"Finish with another cold water rinse. Squeaky clean and ready for overnight products."
One commenter said that cleansing balm was the critical step in their cleansing routine.
"I use Clean It Cero cleansing balm to remove my makeup and then La Roche Posay cleanser," they said.
