THINGS are looking up for one beauty lover who wasn't going to be brought down by her hooded eyes.
Her eye-popping anti-aging look is easier than you might think.
Redditor was ready to show the world her new wide-eyed appearance that didn't require much work.
"Albeit I'm only 30, my eyelids are softening and my eyes [are] getting more hooded. I find that the simpler the eye looks, the better," she said.
She was ready to spill the beans on her beauty trick.
"Satin finishes are incredibly flattering, and one-shadow looks are great. A less structured, unfussy, and optionally messy eye works best," she said.
For younger-looking eyes, she was also a fan of eyeshadow liner looks, as well as smoked-out or blurred pencils and gels.
"Tightlining is a good option for definition once your lid starts getting hard to line due to softness, lines, and creases," she said.
For the most pronounced looks, she had only one thing to say.
"All in all diffused is the keyword for anything eye-look-wise," she said.

"I think mature skin benefits from many of the same guidelines as dry skin," she said.
"WATER IN THE DESERT"
Her other tips involved keeping base layers to a minimum and emphasizing hydration.
She advised splurging on a high-quality powder and using it only when necessary.
Some other items can also make a dramatic difference.
"Hydrating setting sprays that melt everything in are great. Cream products are water in the desert," she said.
When it comes to concealers, she believes that thinner is better.

"You might find light-reflecting pens to be very flattering. But as your skin thins, you may find the coverage is not enough - that means it's a good idea to use a thin color corrector," she said.
"It will be less cakey to combine these two products than using a thicker, higher coverage concealer," she continued.
A LITTLE LIPPIE
She also had pointers for getting a perfect pout.
"Lip stains and light blurred application with a finger of matte cream lipsticks for a stain effect are insanely flattering," she said.
"As your lips lose pigment, sheer reddish and berry shades are great to bring color and life back to the lips when you want a simple everyday vibe for the lips," she continued.
"It's incredibly natural and looks lively."

Just be sure to avoid using excess product in places where creases, such as smile lines, are more prevalent.

"It might be more flattering than having it crease if you don't need coverage," she said.
"You may also not need concealer up to the lashline if you shade the area with eyeshadow anyway. No point in adding product to those lines and creases if you cover them up with shadow."
