‘For God’s sake, we haven’t had summer yet’ people cry as major high street store launches HALLOWEEN range in July

Shoppers also spotted Christmas treats being stocked in July in a supermarket

SHOPPERS have shared their shock at seeing Halloween decorations already being put out in stores and complained that we “haven’t had summer yet.”

One bargain hunter uploaded a photo of the display of Halloween items out in TK Maxx.

The snap showed a table laden with spooky-themed items, from a coffin ornament with a skeleton on it, to skull-themed cups and plates.

There was also a cushion with the slogan “spooky vibes” on it.

Underneath the table were ghost-adorned throws and rugs.
Meanwhile, the display also had an autumnal wreath to hang on your front door.

The shopper uploaded the snap to the Extreme Couponing and Bargains UK page, and wrote: “Tkmaxx Fareham have Halloween.”

Many people seemed keen to snap up the items for their home, despite it still being July.

One said: “it's time …”

However, other people didn’t like the fact that Halloween items are already out on display.

One person pointed out: “For god sake we not had summer yet!!!!”

On TK Maxx shopper replied: “They start their first Halloween collection every July, it sells out by August! It’s their tradition.”

Although it's far from time to hang the stockings up, one shopper pointed out they're perfect for gifting at the end of the school year.

Commenting on a Facebook post, the buyer said: "Quality Street are for end of year teacher gifts."

Another shopper didn't care about the time of year.

They said: "Quality Street are for life, not just Christmas."

A third added: "It'll be for parents to give to their children's teachers in July."The tubs have been spotted in branches across the country including in Suffolk, Essex and London.
