‘Tesco trip pending’ shoppers yell as F&F launches huge 50% off summer sale, including white & gold dress featured on TV
WE all know Tesco has stepped up its fashion game this year.
And this is made even sweeter when the supermarket puts on seasonal sales.
Luckily for us, there is currently a huge F&F sale taking place in Tesco stores across the country right now... just in time for our holidays.
It’s complete with summer dresses, swimming costumes and rails of versatile tees.
Fashionistas are racing to their local store to pick up stylish bargains, including a dress that reportedly featured on This Morning.
The white and gold maxi number had a slot on the daytime show’s fashion segment last week, some shoppers have claimed.

And now, you can pick it up in the sale.
However, the exact discount price is unknown.
As Tesco doesn’t allow F&F orders online, the only way to know the prices is by popping into store.
What we do know is that most of its current summer sale is 50% off.
Deborah Wright took to Facebook group Extreme Couponing and Bargains UK group to alert other shoppers to the sale.
“Tesco has up to 50% sale on selected styles across ladies, kids and baby - and men’s sale starts tomorrow,” she penned yesterday.
“There’s lots of summer items on sale, including swimwear.
“It’s in all stores but stock will vary depending on shop size.”
She shared a selection of images showcasing bursting rails of women’s and kid’s clothes from the supermarket’s Corstorphine store in Edinburgh, Scotland.
Over on Instagram, fashionistas have similarly been raving about the pieces.
Is supermarket fashion the new high street?
DEPUTY Fashion Editor Abby McHale weighs in:
The supermarkets have really upped their game when it comes to their fashion lines. These days, as you head in to do your weekly food shop you can also pick up a selection of purse-friendly, stylish pieces for all the family.
Tesco has just announced a 0.7 per cent increase in the quarter thanks to a 'strong growth in clothing' and M&S has earnt the title of the number one destination for womenswear on the high street.
Asda's clothing line George has made £1.5 million for the supermarket in 2023, 80 per cent of Sainsbury's clothes sold at full price rather than discounted and Nutmeg at Morrisons sales are also up 2 per cent in the past year.
So what is it about supermarket fashion that is becoming so successful?
Apart from the clothing actually being affordable, it's good quality too - with many being part of schemes such as the Better Cotton Initiative.
A lot of the time they keep to classic pieces that they know will last the customer year after year.
Plus because they buy so much stock they can turn around pieces quickly and buy for cheaper because of the volumes.
One shopper said the summer clothes as “such a fabulous range”
“They’re definitely the best clothes out of all the supermarkets,” they added.
