East said five habits prevent premature aging of hands and revitalize the skin.
Among her tips is regularly applying hand cream and managing stress, which can break down collagen.
“Use a cream after washing to lock in moisture,” she said.
She said moisturizers and oils should also be applied at night for “deep moisturization” while the body is in “repair mode.”
She advised quitting smoking as it “accelerates” the aging process.
Lastly, she said it’s important to wear hand protection whenever it’s possible.
