One woman revealed the simple and free trick she used to grow out her bangs.
Commenting on a Reddit , an unnamed user revealed some of her go-to DIY beauty techniques.
Among them was the inversion method, which she swears by for promoting hair growth.
"There’s a variety of different methods for the inversion method, some involve oils, some simple involve massage," she explained.
However, all variations of the inversion method include the same essential step.
"The main part of this method is flipping your head upside down," she said.
The Redditor broke down the specific technique and schedule she uses.
"You can sit on a chair and put your head between your legs if you’re able to," she said.
She recommended massaging the scalp for around 2-5 minutes each time.

"Most versions of the method tell you to do this every day for four to seven days consecutively once a month," she told her fellow Reddit users.
She acknowledged that the method requires daily dedication but pointed out all the benefits.
"Now, I know this sounds tedious but it’s totally free and it leads to a way healthier scalp and hair," she said.
The social media user mentioned that this can lead to increased hair growth.
"I’ve been doing this to help grow out my bangs and it worked like a charm," she said.

The experts carried out a study linking hair loss to health conditions on the scalp.
According to the Reddit user, there is an additional step you can take to promote a healthy scalp.
"It makes sense that applying oil to the scalp could help ease the scalps production of excessive oil due to continuous stripping," they explained.
