A WOMAN has revealed she was left stunned when she discovered a 'secret message' on her Lush hair conditioner.

Brooke splashed out on the Super Milk spray from the much-loved store after hearing about its lasting smell on social media.

But she then made another discovery, after learning that the stickers on Lush products - which say which employee made them - have messages underneath.

Admitting in a TikTok that she must have been "living under a rock", Brooke said she "never knew that", so wanted to see if it was true.

Peeling back the sticker on the Super Milk spray, she saw it said "Got plant-based milk?"

"Not very good secret message, but this Super Milk is quite nice!" she added.

Brooke then went to find another Lush product to see what was under the sticker on that one.

She found a shower gel from the Shrek range, and underneath the sticker it said "there's an arrow in your butt".

Clearly unimpressed, Brooke mused: "Is that a Shrek reference?"

She then went to find a third Lush product, which was "really dusty" because she has a tendency to "buy them and not use them".

Brooke peeled it off and read out "A-O-K-O-L-E-N".

"What the hell?

'Calling all shower Lushies' says the popular retailer as they announce a new bath bomb for your shower - but everyone's totally divided

"No wonder it's a secret message.

"I don't need to know that.

"I don't even know what that means! Pointless!"

People were quick to comment on the video, with many admitting they had no idea about the hidden messages.

"I just bought Honey I Washed The Kids," one wrote.

"I am RUNNING to go peel the sticker off!"

Five secret branding messages you may have missed

LOTS of brands have secret messages on their logos - so which ones have you spotted?

Amazon

Most people either have Amazon Prime and/or regularly order from the site, so are used to seeing the logo. But have you ever noticed the little arrow underneath the word Amazon? It starts at the 'A' and finishes at the 'Z' - showing that they sell everything from A to Z!

Toblerone

It caused a stir a few years ago when people realised the Toblerone logo - which they'd thought was a mountain - is actually the image of a bear. The reason for this is that a bear is the official symbol of the Swiss town of Bern, the original home of Toblerone.

Ray-Ban

The brand is arguably one of the most famous sunglasses companies in the world. But have you ever spotted the sunglasses image in the logo? If you look carefully at the letter 'B' in Ray-Ban and tilt your head to the side, you will see it looks like a pair of sunnies.

Hyundai

You'd be forgiven for thinking the 'H' logo for Hyundai is just meant to be a jazzy letter. In fact, if you look again, you might see that the vertical lines of the H are actually meant to show two people shaking hands - a salesperson and a satisfied customer.

Apple

Again, one of the most familiar logos in the world. But why does Apple's apple logo have a bite taken out of it? Apparently, it's down to the fact that when the logo is made smaller, they didn't want it to look like a cherry. So having the bite taken out of it means it is always identifiable as an apple.

"I bought Honey I washed the kids.. just ran to look and mine said 'buzzing' … that’s it!" another added.

But others were more perturbed about the fact that the Shrek reference had gone over Brooke's head.

"Are you even a Shrek fan at all?" one wrote.

"I was thinking the same thing omg," another laughed.

"How do you not know that Shrek reference, Brooke?" a third wondered.

While someone else said: "'There’s a arrow in your butt' is most definitely a Shrek reference lol!"

According to Lush themselves, the secret messages are for the person who places the stickers on the pot or bottle - so they know "exactly where to pop it".
