Redditor was in shock over the discounted deal.

"Immaculate. So excited," they said.

They explained how they had paid just $8.99 for the blue-colored kitchen buys from the well-known brand.

That was a 90% savings for the set that was worth over $100.

One Redditor was equally impressed with the find but also curious about what to do with it.

"Beautiful! But what exactly are they - a tray and what's the other piece for? Soup? I've never seen a Le Creuset tray before!" they said.

"I think it's a set for dip? I honestly have no idea what it's supposed to be for lol," they replied.

The small pot appears to be a which sells for $36.

This individually sized cocotte is described as being ideal for making gratins, cobblers, and pot pies.

The small dish allows for faster baking.

Made of premium stoneware, it helps to ensure heat distribution.

Its heat retention also means food is kept at the perfect serving temperature.

Perhaps the reason the set was found in such good condition is because it is made with a scratch-resistant and non-reactive colorful glaze.

It also features nonstick interiors so food is able to be easily removed.

The other piece looks to be a $65 .

Why is Le Creuset so expensive?

Le Creuset cookware is on the wishlists of many home cooks and bakers.

But the French brand's Dutch ovens can cost between $260 and $750, and even a bread loaf pan will set you back $180.

So what warrants such hefty price tags?

Le Creuset's Dutch ovens are among its most popular items, and they — along with several other pieces of their cookware — are made with high-quality enameled cast iron.

They're meant to last a long time and even carry a lifetime warranty "to be free from defects in material and workmanship."

"It’s like, do you really wanna buy a $50 piece of something over and over again, or do you wanna invest in something and know that you’re gonna have it for a long time?" Nate Collier, Le Creuset's director of marketing and communications, said to .

According to , 15 quality control officers inspect each of the brand's items before they're sold.

Of course, they're pretty, too, and quite the status symbol.

"You think of it as a simple piece of cookware, but even the silhouette of our Dutch oven is recognizable," Collier said.

"You could show someone a line drawing without any color, and most people that are familiar with cookware would be able to tell you that it's specifically a Le Creuset Dutch oven."

Celebrity fans include Julia Child, Marilyn Monroe, Jennifer Garner, and Taylor Swift.

The plate features two wide handles for easy carrying.

It also has ridged edges that slope upward.

And of course, it also has the same chip and stain-resistant glaze.

Others were just as floored by the finds.
