However, one man has caused quite the stir on Reddit after opting for an inking on his arm that read: ''Nicole, will you marry me?''
The now-viral design, which was met with a number of responses, also included a box of ''Yes'' and ''No'', stipulating that if Nicole was to tie the knot with the Romeo, the bride would be his from ''2024 - 4ever''.
According to the man, he'd first seek approval of his girlfriend's father before organising the wedding ceremony.
, under the title "do you think she said yes? ", sparked a fierce debate on the forum - but unfortunately, for the tattoo enthusiast, his romantic gesture didn't prove to be a major hit amongst many.

A number of social media users, for example, were wondering what the ink loved would do if his darling ultimately declined the unusual proposal.
Despite the Romeo's bold move to get the proposal tattooed on his body, many people reckoned the daring gesture was also absurd in their eyes.
