One mum, Sandra Gage, uploaded a snap of her monster haul of goodies that she'd picked up for her kids, which is sure to keep them busy during the school holidays.

Taking to the Facebook group , she wrote: ''Over the moon all wooden play toys, including batteries if needed £1 each at Lidl.''

Included in her bargain haul - a total of nine items - was Lidl's PlayTive Mosaic Puzzle that's perfect for tots aged three and above, as well as a box of Stacking Animals Toy, ideal for the smaller ones aged one and older.

If your mini me is obsessed with playing pretend kitchen, the kid will sure appreciate Lidl's PlayTive Coffee Maker that comes with two adorable play cups and is perfect for anyone of the age three - what better way to start the day?

The latter, ideal for anyone aged one and older, will help develop a child's hand-eye coordination, amongst other benefits.
