I’m a DIY whizz and made a trendy fire pit using a £9.99 Home Bargains buy – we saved over £100
AS the weather finally warms up, we are all looking for ways to make the most of our outdoor space.
One gardener has broken the internet thought, by transforming cheap buys into a DIY firepit worth over £100.
Rather than spending a small fortune on a stainless steel one, the thrifty influencer decided to create her own using items she found at her favourite discount store: Home Bargains.
Though she is used to crafting and upcycling, even the Tiktok star was shocked by how well the DIY project turned out - especially as she spent less than an afternoon making it.
Showing her step-by-step process in a now-viral video, she revealed that the fire pit base had been made using a wine cooler she'd picked up for under a tenner.

She also found other budget-friendly buys to makeover the cooler, including fire-safe gold spray paint to give the kitchen gadget a beautiful brass finish.
The interior expert was far from done though, adding an old tin can at the centre of the cooler to contain the lighter fluid - for super easy clean ups.
Finishing off the project, she added some white decorative stones to give her fire pit a more high-end look.
In the caption, she gushed about how ‘beautiful’ and ‘effective’ the DIY project was - despite it only costing her £15 to make.
If you are tempted to try this project, you can find the majority of essentials at discount stores - just like Emily did.
For instance, she bagged at Home Bargains for just £9.99.
Meanwhile, the Fabulous Team found a 5kg bag of for just £4.99 in B&M.
