FOR better or for worse, all eyes tend to be on the bride during a wedding.

One groom has managed to turn heads though, with a suit that was so bad people mistook him for a convict.

If that weren’t bad enough, his beautiful bride was forced to explain his wedding attire on Facebook.

While some grooms get slammed for wearing flip-flops or jeans,  we can only imagine how guests reacted when they saw this suit.

To make matters even worse, his very casual outfit makes it look like he is attending a different event to his beautiful bride.

As she stood in her princess-style lace ball gown, the groom wore a tan shirt and cargo trousers combo with bright blue sneakers.

Though you can forgive him for getting the tone wrong, his relaxed look raised more than a few eyebrows after it was shared on Facebook.

One user even though the groom was a felon and questioned whether he was wearing the classic tan jumpsuit worn by many US prisoners.

Responding to the bride’s post, she wrote: “This isn't meant to be disrespectful at all, but is he an inmate?

“Just wondering how those types of weddings work, I’m only asking because of the location and his out.”

Needless to say, the bride quickly corrected the well-meaning woman.

She replied: “He’s not lol. It’s a Snoop Dogg outfit from Walmart…we used the cheapest possible.”

However, the newlywed went on to reveal that her groom hadn't been thrilled about his wedding look either.

“He liked it until he got dressed and then was like ‘Well, s**t’. No, he isn’t an inmate,” she revealed, in a now-viral Facebook post.

The post was later shared on the ‘That's it, I'm wedding shaming’ group, with others also calling out the groom's questionable wedding outfit.

One joked: “I don’t know what’s worse, your fiancé showing up to your wedding as a felon or a Snoop Dogg cosplayer?”

“Why would you wear a Snoop Dogg outfit in the first place though?” asked another, with many agreeing in the comments.

A third then argued that the famous rapper wouldn’t wear this suit to a wedding, writing: “How dare they disrespect Snoop Dogg. He wears a suit when the occasion calls for it.”

Others seemed more preoccupied with the bride’s response to the loaded question.

“His partner being completely unfazed by the question is so funny,” commented a fourth.

Meanwhile, some Facebook users were just overwhelmed by the chaotic photos.

“It distracts you from the white socks/ black slides that the officiant has going on,” teased a fifth, as they commented on the suit.

“There is so much going on here. However, the bride seems so sweet in her response of it's the Snoop Dogg outfit and not prison clothes. And the officiant’s shoes? Just so much to look at,” said a sixth.

It must be love, we guess.
