OH BABY

I was on Teen Mum UK & it made people hate me – I know I’m a good mum but I’m fed up of trolls telling me how to parent

IT doesn't matter whether you're a celebrity or not - strangers always like to shame mums for their parenting choices.

And one person who knows a little about this is Ellie Jones, who gave birth to her son Tommy when she was just 16.

Reality TV fans may recognise the brunette beauty from the poplar series Teen Mum UK: Next Generation, who appeared on the our screens aged 18.

During the show, viewers could follow all the drama between her and her boyfriend Luke - the father of her son - as they tried to adjust to their new role as parents.

For Ellie, the pregnancy had come as a massive shock as she was on contraception and still in school at the time, meaning she had "no money and no job," we reported earlier.

"Tommy is already two-years-old, it’s crazy to think I met his dad Luke when we were 14.

''We were just a couple of shy kids," she said on the series.

"Two years later, everything changed, when I found out I was pregnant, I was already six months gone, three months later, Tommy was born."

Earlier this year, the stunner revealed that there would be a next series - however, Ellie noted that she's made the decision to not appear on the show this year.

''The amount of hate I got - not only hate towards me but hate towards Tommy and hate towards Luke,'' explained Ellie, who's since separated from the baby daddy.

The amount of trolling and hate she got, the mum bravely opened up in on TikTok, ''wasn't acceptable'' and was ''horrific''.

At some point the vicious comments had become so nasty that MTV had delete one of the posts on their Instagram page ''because it was that bad''.

On the show, the beauty said she was simply being herself - ''and people didn't like that'', which is something she's also since concluded on social media.

After approaching the production team behind the show, the producers, too, agreed that returning on the series would not be the best idea.

''I said 'Yeah, [...] - because if I go straight back into the series two, then after all this s**t that's happened on social media, I would just get harassed, bullied. It's disgusting'.''

Although Ellie wished the other mums nothing but the best, the young woman was convinced she would be ''missed'', as she was ''a big character''.

''I was - everyone says it to me all the time.

''But that is why I am not on it - because of all the hate that I got.
