‘No offense,’ says bride demanding bridesmaids work out if they’re not size 8 – & admits ‘bestie’ will only be a ‘guest’
IF the dress fits... then you can be a bridesmaid.
At least, that's one bride's mentality as revealed in a demanding announcement.
Redditor shared the bride's non-negotiables for their dream wedding.
In an invite for a bridal party, the bride outlined exactly how she expected her December Oklahoman wedding to go.
"I'm so excited to marry the man of my dreams. As. you know, this is going to be a very different wedding," she said.
The bride explained that she'd done the bridesmaid a favor making the decision of the dresses — and saving time on fittings — for them.
"Just a few things to ask. I handpicked all the dresses and bridesmaids that will be there and they will all be a size 8," she said.
Those who aren't, well, the bride offered a simple solution — exercise.
"So if you're not a size 8, I recommend hitting the gym," she said.
"No offense to anyone but I have had this planned since I was in diapers and want it to be perfect."

On top of the size of her bridesmaids, she demanded that the hand-chosen cohort cut their nails short and leave them uncolored.
That, however, wasn't all.
"Hair needs to be shoulder length and straightened so if your hair is short, get extensions. No fake tans."
Her list of expectations included leaving the kids at home and contributions to her honeymoon.
"We also want no kids at the ceremony. Except my flower girl. But she will only be present to throw flowers, then her parents are taking her home," she said.
"I'm sorry if this seems like a lot of demands but this [is] a special day and [I] just want it like I always pictured.
"Please be respectful and we will have an awesome time.
"One last thing — I'll be sending my Venmo and CashApp to the ones who haven't paid the $500 donation towards [our] honeymoon in Hawai'i. Love you guys, can't wait to be a wifey."
The bride also explained that her best friend would not be part of the ceremony, despite what people may expect.
"As you may notice, my bestie isn't the maid of honor and is just going to be a guest," she said.
"If you don't know why, just ask, we have an understanding."
Many felt that her demands were too much and overbearing.
"I can’t imagine being friends with someone like this in the first place but if someone asked me to lose weight for their wedding I wouldn’t even attend as a guest," said one commenter.

Some speculated why the bride specifically chose size 8 dresses and straightened hair.
"She's a size 6 and doesn't want them to look better than her I promise you," said one commenter.

Others joined in with their theories about why her best friend isn't part of the wedding.
"My bestie understands that I am entirely made of bullsh*t, so, in an attempt to retain at least one friend, post-wedding, she will not be a part of my perfect wedding party. (She's also a ghastly size ten, omg barf)," joked one viewer.
