A WOMAN has explained how she got revenge in the pettiest way possible when her camping trip was ruined by noisy holidaymakers.

Hayley was with her family on a site when "20 to 30 foreigners rocked up" and started to play their music - which continued until two in the morning.

"Listen, let's remember this was a family site and only campers will understand that noise is to be kept at a minimum past 10pm," Hayley wrote in the caption of her TikTok .

"I expect some noise at camping - it comes with it - but deffo not til gone 2am when the babies are all trying to sleep.

"Ever had a sleep deprived child at camping? NOT worth it!

"Everyone is there for the same reason, to have their own fun, so don't be a dick and ruin it for others!"

Hayley added that despite the fact numerous people had asked the large group to keep the noise down, they refused to do so until they turned everything off at two in the morning.

So, to get revenge, Hayley got herself up at 5.30am the next day, and started having some noise-making fun.

"I'm being an absolute **** waking the camp up," she wrote over the top of the clip.

The video showed her repeatedly opening and closing her car door, as well as staging a pretend conversation with someone with lots of laughing.

She also started singing "Good Morning", before getting into her car and turning the music up loud as she sat in there and puffed on her vape.

"Luckily no other tents were in this area bar this large family, so I didn't wake anyone else up just them," Hayley added.

I stayed in one of the UK's best 'tiny campsites'

"I mean I could have jumped in the car and honked the horn but I would have woken the whole park.

"Their head was right next to my car door so they was the first to wake and get up followed by the rest."

"Yes I was just being petty and getting even to make sure the babies got sleep that night," she continued.

"And yes opening the car door several times p**sed them off and woke them up because their head was right by my feet.

"Guaranteed anyone who comments 2am is not too late or I'm a b**nd is not familiar to camping/caravanning."

Hayley concluded her video by revealing that her controversial methods worked.

"Did they repeat their actions the following night?" she wrote.

"Nope, scared this mental woman would wake them again!"

Three camping tips from an expert

David Scotland owns camping equipment retailer Outdoor World Direct and knows all about how to make a camping trip run smoothly.

When visiting any campsite this summer it's important to make sure you're not making simple mistakes that could ruin your holiday.

Check your tent

David recommends putting your tent up a couple of weeks before you're due to travel to give you enough time to repair or replace any damaged parts.

He told Sun Online Travel: “You’d be surprised how many people turn up with broken tents."

Test the ground

Picking a good spot to pitch your tent is difficult, with lots of things to consider.

One of those should be the condition of the ground you're putting your tent on top of, according to David.

He said: “Once you’ve found the perfect spot, test the ground with your pegs before you commit to camping there to make sure the ground is soft enough."

Don't nap in your tent

It may seem the perfect place for it, but a nap in a tent could end badly, if it's done at the wrong time of the day.

David explained: "If the sun’s shining and it’s hot inside your tent - don’t do it!

"One of our friends nodded off in his tent during a heatwave at Glastonbury and ended up at the medical tent with heatstroke."

Instead, he recommends finding some shade outside or somewhere well ventilated.

"Sometimes you have to act like a div!"

Hayley added in the caption: "What a Karen, what a fun sponge I am.

"Unless you go camping, you won't get it!

"No I don't think I'm hard, I'm just teaching them a lesson.

"But it did work - they turned off their music at 10.30 to 11 the following 2 nights!"

"Good for you, we've done this too," one person wrote in the comments section.

To which Hayley replied: "Never in all my years of camping have I ever come across such a selfish inconsiderate group of campers.

"I get it, everyone is there for fun, but you need to be thoughtful to others past a certain hour."

"The only thing that I hate about camping is other people," another raged.

"There's some really selfish people around isn't there!"

"You’re a psycho and I love it," a third chuckled.

"This is DEFINITELY me!! Good for you girl!" someone else said.

With Hayley responding: "Childish yes but c’mon.
