‘Your mum hated you or loved Italian food’ jokes delivery driver after receiving order from woman with ‘weirdest name’
The driver thought they might be pronouncing the name wrong at first
PICKING the perfect name for you little one can be tough, do you for for something traditional or a little more adventurous?
Well, one mum clearly decided to push the boat out when she named her daughter.

Posting on Reddit, a delivery driver shared the unusual name, which she came across on the job.
She revealed he got an order some someone called LaZonia, pronounced like Lasagne.
She joked: "Picking up an order for LaZonia?"
"Ma'am, this is Chipotle."

"Then it hits me. This woman's name was "Lasagne? Surely not!
"I meekly explained that was the customer's name, not her order. I went to drop it off at an office."
The delivery driver took the grub to the lobby of the delivery address where someone confirmed it was for someone called 'Lasagane'
"I handed her the order wordlessly so I didn't burst out laughing and walked away.

"LaZonia, I'm pretty sure your mother either really hated you or really loved Italian food," she added.
Unsurprisingly, others were just as shocked by the name choice and couldn't believe anyone would seriously name their child after the grub.

One joked: "Was her mum Garfield?"
"Surely they knew it sounds exactly like lasagne?" another wrote.
"Oh dang. One of the housekeepers at my college's name was Lasagna. Never saw a name tag, we always assumed it was like Liz-Anya, but maybe it was really LaZonia," someone else chimed in.
But another Reddit user confessed they'd also met someone with the unusual name, except it didn't even have a different spelling.
"Several years ago, a friend of mine had a student named Lasagna. Spelled correctly," they said.
And someone else said: "Zonia is nice name, but adding La just make it worse."
