A WOMAN has advised people to do proper research before going to Turkey for a dental makeover, after she was left looking like a ''horse''.
The dental trend has become increasingly popular among Brits, with an estimated 35,000 British and Irish citizens jetting off to Turkey in hopes of a new dazzling smile.
The staggering rise in people, including Love Island stars and influencers, travelling to the sunny country has a lot to do with the costs - as many clinics in Turkey offer veneers and crowns for a fraction of the price here, in the UK.
However, whilst there have been plenty of great results, with people proudly showing off their Hollywood smile on social media, one woman has revealed that things don't always go to plan.
Mum Lauren Evens recently took to TikTok to share her horror story, after a dental clinic in the tourist hotspot left her with gnashers so big, she, in her own words, was left looking like a ''horse''.
According to the beauty enthusiast, she had gone abroad to get crowns and implants fitted earlier this year - but little did the parent know, she'd have to have the teeth fixed just a few months later.

After having her natural gnashers filed down, the Turkish clinic added the crowns on top - however, as they were not fitted properly, Lauren was left with a range of issues.
Whilst, in the eyes of fans, her new pearly whites looked ''amazing'', Lauren couldn't disagree any more, saying the big crowns gave her a horse-like mouth.
''If you didn't know before, well you know now that I am next in line for running [at the] Grand National,'' she chuckled in , referring to the most famous horse race in the world.
''Nah, I joke - I'm getting them fixed in July, so I'm not going to have horse teeth for long - neigh!''

Sharing the nightmare on her social media page, the mum said that she's since chosen to have a corrective plastic surgery with a clinic she's ''happy with''.
But it's not just the large size of the sparkly white crowns that's a concern - on , Lauren has also claimed the dental disaster gave her ''a lisp and biting problems''.
Urging others to not make the same mistake, the beauty enthusiast advised others to really look into the clinics properly, as it could save you from a headache.
''This is why it’s important to do your research - , I'm forever grateful for you!'' she tagged the health experts who would fix the mess.
Horrified, dozens of social media users raced to comments to share their thoughts and offer support to the parent.
''I've only ever heard horror stories about Turkey Teeth, I'm sure there are positive ones out there. I'm so sorry you had issues,'' wrote one person.
Someone else chimed in: ''Wow, that is some massive overbite.''
