Gardening fans race to Aldi for ‘absolute bargain’ plants in store for just £1.89 – and you need to get them planted now
WANT to get your garden summer ready but don't have much budget?
If you're looking to give your outdoor space a massive glow-up for very little buck, you might want to head to Aldi and take a look at their plant section.
The German supermarket has tons of border plants, trees and flowers in their Roots & Bloom range - and you could get change from £2.
Posting on the Facebook group which boasts 429,000 members, green-fingered shopper Lorna shared a snap of some £1.89 plants on sale.
She said: "These are in Aldi now, an absolute bargain if you’re staying put for the next couple of years."
Lorna picked up clematis, honeysuckle, sweet pea, jasmine and lavatera all for £1.89 each.

All climbing plants, the cheap buys can add vertical beauty to you garden.
Twining climbers such as clematis like to wind around a trellis or other supporting structure while scented climbers like jasmine and honeysuckle are great for an arch or arbour.
And other gardening fans are raving over the bargain Aldi plants.
"Must get some of these, look how cheap", said one.
A second admitted: "Went in for one today and walked out with a trolley full of other plants not on my list."
A third exclaimed: "Blimey bargains galore, wow."
