A WOMAN has revealed how her date was cut short after her potential match couldn't stop talking about "Dina."
At first, she thought Dina was another woman, but the truth turned out to be even more unsettling.
Mai (pronounced “May”) Paasewe () opened up about the date gone wrong in a on TikTok.
"I went on a date with this guy a couple of years ago, and he said he couldn't do much since 'Dina' came around," she recalled.
"And I'm thinking, 'Why are you talking about another girl on a date?' Like this is mad, weird, and suspicious."
WHO'S DINA?
Paasewe explained that she didn't respond at first and kept eating her food, but he wouldn't stop talking about Dina.
"He's like, 'Yeah, since Dina came around, I really can't do anything. I've really been in the house for real because you ain't got no more free time when stuff like that happens.'"
She remembered thinking to herself, "Why would you go on a date with me if you got somebody at home?"
After hearing her date go on and on about Dina, Paasewe decided to address the elephant in the room on the car ride home.
"I'm just like, 'OK, I don't know who Dina is and I need you to stop talking about her. Like that is just mad disrespectful to her and to me.'"

Paasewe flat out told her date to "just go be with her," causing him to laugh.
"He goes, 'You think Dina is a person?'" she said. "And I'm like, 'That's a name isn't it?
"And he literally goes, 'D.N.A.'"
Paasewe said she was still confused and wondered if Dina didn't have an "I" in her name.
"And he's like, 'No, not a person. DNA, that's what we call DNA — dee-nuh.'"
He went on to explain to Paasewe that he received a letter in the mail saying he was a genetic match to a three-year-old child he fathered.
"Instead of paying child support, he takes the child half the week," she explained.
"So ever since the 'Dina' kicked in, he can't go outside as much as he wants to."
Paasewe confirmed that she did not want to pursue the relationship any further.
"We did not go on a second date," she said.
