AN oily complexion is no match for one beauty fan's step-by-step routine.

They said their skincare regimen leaves them looking like a "glazed donut" by the end of it.

Redditor posted the hack to a thread dedicated to secrets to a fabulous complexion.

"This is the place to discuss your favorite products for hyperpigmentation, also known as dark spots," it read.

They specified that they live in a ";humid" and "tropical" climate.

The Redditor also said that they have an oily skin type, but their tips help combat hyperpigmentation.

They started off their post by listing off products that have helped with dark spots.

"Azelaic acid," they said. "I use Finacea gel which is azelaic acid 15%."

The skincare fan also said they DIY their own Vitamin C serum and Niacinamide.

"Don't worry," they added. "I have a proper equipment and I use proper preservatives system, I test the pH, et cetera."

They also use sunscreen, a staple in the skincare community.

"Good sunscreen [is] very important," they said.

"I had great success fading [my dark spots] when I switched from mineral sunscreen to hybrid or organic one (Japanese and European sunscreen), despite having the same routine."

For SPF that fades dark spots, they recommended "Anessa Perfect Milk, Biore UV Oil Control Base, [and] Ultrasun Tinted Ivory."
