IN FOR A PENNY

Lucky mums are bagging Bluey soft toys for just 1p in Aldi as parents scramble to get their hands on the sell out range

The plushy is scanning for 1p rather than £6.99

SINCE Aldi announced the launch of its all new Bluey range in the middle aisle, parents have been scrambling to get their hands on the bargain toys, games and homeware.

And one lucky mum has revealed that she was able to bag the must-have Bluey soft toy for just a penny in her local branch.

The soft toys are usually priced at £6.99 each

Taking to the Facebook group , she shared a snap of her receipt revealing her bargain haul.

As well as a couple of full price items including the £24.99 Bluey plush chair and the £14.99 Talking Bluey, the receipt showed she had bagged the soft toy for just 1p.

Captioning the snap she wrote: “Managed to get what we needed for the Bluey range,

“The soft toys are coming up 1p, not sure if it’s all Aldis though.”

While some customers claimed they were lucky enough to bag the 1p bargain themselves, the comments showed that most were paying £6.99 for the plushie.

One added: “They’ve withdrawn them from sale at our local due to the pricing error.”

The animated Blue Heeler puppy has been delighting little ones since 2018, with the Aussie cartoon becoming a favourite of parents and children across the world.

It’s not surprising then that any toys featuring the character sell out almost immediately and Aldi’s new Specialbuys range will be the same.

Having arrived in stores on April 25th, the range is perfect for the Bluey fan in your family and there is plenty to choose from – with toys for under a tenner.

Our team are particularly sweet on Bluey’s Ice Cream Station, with the adorable set featuring adorable wooden ice lollies, a scoop and even serving pots.

Forget the Bluey chair, now parents are racing to Aldi for nearly identical Jellycat dupes that are £54 cheaper

The middle aisle find also has fake notes to help your little one to learn numbers, counting and money – not bad for a toy that costs just £9.99.

For anyone looking to unlock their little one’s creative side, there is also the Bluey Scribbler/Art Easel which has a chalkboard on one side and a magnetic white board on the other.

Priced at just £9.99, this set will give your kids hours of fun and you’ll have even more of their art to hang up.

While you are looking through the middle aisle, you can also find the Bluey Figure Set (£8.99) and the Bluey Heeler House Playset (£12.99) which are perfect for rainy day playtimes.

However, the German supermarket also has other items which would make great gifts for birthday or even Christmas – if you really want to stock up.

This include a Bluey and Bingo Plush Chairs (£24.99) with the plush designs made from super soft filling and are the perfect place to ‘read and unwind’.

If you kids need to get rid of some excess energy, you can also pick up the Bluey Talking Plush (£14.99) which has nine different catch phrases and sings the iconic theme song.

It even doubles up as a cuddly toy and has an adorable embroidered t-shirt, which is super soft to snuggle up against.

You can also pick up a Bluey themed tri-scooter (£16.99) to give your little ones hours of adventures, as they zoom around the park and your neighbourhood.

Unsurprisingly, we expect the Aldi exclusive range to sell out fast – especially with so many beloved characters on shelves.

As with all Specialbuys though, there is only a limited amount of stock so best to get there sooner rather than later to avoid disappointment.
