Beauty fan shares trick to get rid of double chin in seconds – and you don’t even have to leave the house
SOME beauty fans fork out loads of their hard earned cash in a bid to get rid of their double chin, but as far as this woman is concerned it's totally unnecessary.
She revealed how anyone can get a more defined jawline in seconds without even leaving the comfort of their home.
Taking to TikTok, Jadyn Cross shared the simple steps she follows to banish a double chin - and her before and after pictures speak for themselves.
“These help tighten the skin and drain your double chin to give you a more snatched look," she captioned the viral clip.
“How to get rid of a double chin at home. Do these 10 or 15 times with a moisturiser every morning and night," she recommended to her millions of followers.
She started by using a Gua Sha, a curved stone used to press against the skin to massage, and pressed up from the bottom of her beck to the end of her chin with her head tilted upwards.

Jadyn then used her fingers for the next step, firmly massaging her jaw line from her chin using her knuckles.
She then repeated this step with the Gua Sha, making sure to drag it down her neck too.
With her hand flat, she used the top part to rock back and forth under her chin to further encourage a more "snatched" look.
Using a moisturiser while doing these massages will help your hands or the gua sha glide over the skin without tugging so much.
Jadyn showed off the difference on her own face after doing the massages, and her double chin definitely looks more defined.
Other beauty fans were impressed with her quick and easy method and couldn't wait to try it out.
However, the beauty pro did note that for most people it will take at least one month to see results "depending on how consistent you are."

What causes a double chin?
A double chin occurs when a layer of fat around your neck sags, causing a wrinkle, which gives the illusion of having two chins.
But the fact is, you do not have to be overweight for this to happen to you.
Some people are genetically predisposed to a double chin, meaning they have a family history of skin with little elasticity.
If the skin loses its elasticity it cannot hold the fat around the chin firmly.
A double chin can also happen as you age and begin to lose muscle.

Another thing causing a double chin is your posture.
A bad posture can also weaken the muscles around the neck and the chin.
What is a Gua Sha and how does it work?
A Gua Sha is a cool stone, often made from rose quartz or jade, that's used to improve circulation.
"In gua sha, a technician scrapes your skin with short or long strokes to stimulate microcirculation of the soft tissue, which increases blood flow. They make these strokes with a smooth-edged instrument known as a gua massage tool. The technician applies massage oil to your skin, and then uses the tool to repeatedly scrape your skin in a downward motion," reports.
The practice is designed to move a "stagnant energy" called chi to reduce inflammation.
