A DAD has revealed how he made his own outdoor pool out of junk in his garage - and his kids can’t get enough.
Taking to Reddit he shared a snap of the contraption that he had made from old polls supported by planks of wood and chairs.
He then lined the frame with a waterproof sheet, filling the base with water to create a pool for his children.
The dad explained that he had decided to opt for a DIY version after being quoted an extortionate amount for pop-up pool.
Captioning the snap he wrote: “What? $500 for a pool?! I can make one out of the crap I have in the garage!”
The dad went on to reveal that he had spent just £47 in total making his pool.

He continued: “Besides the fittings for the PVC and the tarp I had everything else from my job and laying around my garage.
“So $60 for a 5x10x3 pool.”
Fellow Redditors were seriously impressed with his efforts, applauding his work in the comments.
One wrote: “Nothing wrong with this if the kid is happy.”

“As someone who's had 3 or 4 of them, this is going to last the same amount of time,” added another.
A third chimed in, “I mean, that kid is probably having a blast!”
