AISLE STYLE

I’m obsessed with supermarket clothes – these are my top picks including the best summer jacket that sculpts your waist

Low prices doesn't mean having to compromise on quality either

THE style down the aisles is on top form right now with supermarkets brimming with clothes to give your wardrobe instant edge this summer.

And lower prices doesn’t mean compromising on quality because some pieces even look and feel designer – you just need to know where to find them and snap them up before they’re gone.

Why supermarket fashion is on top form, says Fabulous Deputy Fashion Editor Abby McHale

I love shopping at the supermarkets - over the past few years whilst certain high street stores have folded, the style down the aisles has gone from strength to strength.

Now when I head in to do my weekly food shop I always have to make a pit stop at the clothing section to see what’s new in.

Not only are the pieces a great price, but the supermarkets have really nailed what their customers want.

From core wardrobe staples, good quality denim, pretty dresses and fun accessories they really have everything covered.

These days I only buy my jeans from the supermarkets having pairs from both Tu at Sainsbury’s and F&F at Tesco.

And to me there’s no better feeling than someone complimenting your outfit for you to tell them it’s from a supermarket.

Last week I picked up a gorgeous black crossbody bag from Sainsbury’s at just £14 and I’ve had so many people tell me it looks a lot more expensive.

Working in fashion I get to see and feel a lot of clothes and I can tell you that the quality of the pieces from these shops are great, especially for the price.

M&S is having a moment, having released its summer collection, and there is so much to choose from.

Whilst some of the pieces do have a slightly higher price point compared to other supermarkets, you can still find such good pieces for great prices.

Theirfor example can be worn together for summer occasions, or dressed down separately – and the jacket is a star buy with its cinched in waist.

And a is sure to make your outfit talk of the town.
