"Going on a boat, you wouldn't think anything of it."

Charlotte stayed on the boat with their daughter Soulie while ALi went off with some friends on the jet ski's in “his favourite place” close to the famous tree-shaped Palm Jumeirah island.

The mum revealed that day was 'lovely' and she saw Ali off onto the jet ski and waited for him to come back to the boat, as she wasn't the biggest fan of the water activity.

"And then the last words that I said to Ali was just 'be safe, love you,' that was it," she added.

"That was the last words I've ever said to him."

When the beloved dad and entrepreneur made his way back to the boot - tragedy ensued.

The instructor they were with had gone out on a jet ski and collided into Ali head first, recalled Charlotte.

She revealed that Ali died instantly, and Charlotte could do nothing but witness the ordeal take place while holding their daughter in her arms.

"What I was with my eyes was absolutely traumatising," she explained.

The trauma of the incident left Charlotte believing it couldn't be Ali who she had seen in the accident she recalled.

But reality sunk in when her friend came over and told Charlotte to sit down.

"I just knew. I knew at that point," she said.

Charlotte regularly shares snippets of her partner Ali on social media to make sure he and his story is remembered.

She has also discussed the difficulties she faced after he was tragically killed and Charlotte had come back to live in the UK.

As the main bread winner of the family, when Ali passed away it meant the mum had no financial support to rely on during this difficult time.

The clip of the podcast shared to her TikTok account @has gone viral with thousands of people offering words of support.

One person wrote: "You are incredible - bless you and Soulie."

Another commented: "You’re so strong to tell your story!"

"so proud of you!" penned a third.
