TRYING to find toys to keep your little ones entertained can be tricky, especially if you are trying to keep costs down.

One savvy mum has found Bluey toys in Asda for less than £20 though, which your kids will absolutely love.

Despite this, not everyone was thrilled when Stephanie shared the bargain buy on Facebook.

Originally posting in the Extreme Couponing and Bargains UK group, she revealed that she’d found a Bluey’s Kitchen Set at her local supermarket.

Based on the adorable kids’ cartoon, this plastic playset has a built-in Bluey shaped fridge with opening doors, hobs and even a sink to keep your kids occupied for hours.

It also has shelves and hooks to put crockery onto, as well as a hidden smoothie maker tucked underneath the hob.

However, the set also has plenty of accessories too.

Among the ten items included are mini salt and pepper shakers, cutlery, pans, a plate and a little cup for the smoothie maker.

Ideal for kids aged two and up, Asda claim that the set helps to encourage ‘imaginative roleplay, coordination and social interaction’.

Even better, the product description says that it will help budding chefs ‘familiarise themselves with cooking appliances and utensils’.

Unsurprisingly, the Facebook user was determined to pick up the playset for her toddler.

Sharing a photo of the Bluey toy, she wrote: “Just saw this in Asda [for] £17.50…they had a few left at Asda Minworth, but the boxes were slightly damaged on the ones left.”

Almost immediately, the post went viral with over 170 parents commenting on it – all of them desperate to find the playset for their little ones.

Many even tagged their loved ones and begged them to keep an eye out for the toy, with comments like: “If you see these let me know.”

Another admitted that they didn’t want their kids to see this, joking: “Please don’t show Pops this.”

A third was already planning to keep the playset for Xmas.

Having tagged their friend, they urgently wrote: “Need to get one for Xmas…get it if u see it and we will give u the money back.”

Others had been lucky enough to get the set when it first went on sale late last year, with one mum saying: “My 2 year old loves this…she got it for Christmas.”

However, one mum did reveal one downside to the set.

In the comments, she explained that the set is small and revealed that their tot was almost taller than the playset.

“Just an FYI if your kids measure tall for their age this might not be the best,” she explained adding: “I got it at Xmas and my 14 month old string bean is as tall, if not taller than it…it is really cute though.”

If you are still tempted to get the playset, it is worth noting that it is currently sold out on the Asda website.

This means you’ll have to visit your local supermarket if you don’t miss out - as stock is already running low.
