WITH the wet weather keeping most of us stuck inside this weekend, you might be climbing the walls by now.

But fear not, we have just the brainteaser to keep you busy this afternoon.

The infuriating new puzzle is challenging players to spot the unique butterfly in this image.

There are 25 butterflies in total but only 24 of them have a matching pair - can you spot the one who is without a buddy?

While the challenge might seem simple enough, the fact that the butterflies are all black and white makes it difficult to spot the odd one out.

The puzzle was devised by Hungarian cartoonist Gergely Dudás, who is better known as , who is famed for his mind-boggling seek and find puzzles.

He shared this one on Facebook where he boasts over 168,000 followers many of whom were left positively baffled by the conundrum.

At first glance, there doesn’t seem to be a pattern to follow for any clues which makes it impossible to strategize.

The best place to start looking for the mischievous mouse hidden in the optical illusion is toward the bottom right.

Here’s a hint: the mouse is the same color as the mushroom stalks.
