A SHOPPER has shared their supermarket hack that can save you so much money, and people are amazed they had never thought of it before.
The woman shared how she was fed up with forking out for expensive seasoning, and advised that you should instead check out the World Food aisle instead.
On her account, she shared: “Don't go to the seasoning aisle and I'll show you why.”
Lynn showed how in her local Tesco, you can get 45g of garlic powder for £1, while ground ginger is 38g for a pound and ground coriander is £1 for 36g.
She added: “Seems reasonable, until you see some sense and take your two feet and you walk down the aisle.
“And then you see the World Foods aisle, bust a little left down there. It's way cheaper.”

She showed the same products, and demonstrated how you can get a bag of garlic powder that is 13p per 10g, with 100g being £1.30.
Lynn added: “Look at the pence per 10 grams for all of the same seasoning.
“Like, way, way, way cheaper.
“I think it's literally almost half the price.

One said: “I feel like I’m constantly spending money on seasonings so this good to know! As someone who lives pay check to pay check, I’ll be doing this in future instead of those £1 jars! Ty.”
Another added: “never even thought about that thanks.”
And a third commented: “We need to gatekeep!!! Before they up the price.”
How to save on your supermarket shop
THERE are plenty of ways to save on your grocery shop.
You can look out for yellow or red stickers on products, which show when they've been reduced.
If the food is fresh, you'll have to eat it quickly or freeze it for another time.
Making a list should also save you money, as you'll be less likely to make any rash purchases when you get to the supermarket.
Going own brand can be one easy way to save hundreds of pounds a year on your food bills too.
This means ditching "finest" or "luxury" products and instead going for "own" or value" type of lines.
Plenty of supermarkets run wonky veg and fruit schemes where you can get cheap prices if they're misshapen or imperfect.
For example, Lidl runs its Waste Not scheme, offering boxes of 5kg of fruit and vegetables for just £1.50.
If you're on a low income and a parent, you may be able to get up to £442 a year in Healthy Start vouchers to use at the supermarket too.
Plus, many councils offer supermarket vouchers as part of the Household Support Fund.
With inflation driving prices up and the cost of living constantly on the rise, we are all looking for ways to save on the essentials.
For many people, a major source of spending is the weekly trip to get our groceries.
One of the best steps to cutting down on grocery spending is cutting down on food waste.
One step you can take to minimise your food waste is to plan your meals before you go shopping.
We all know the feeling of coming home from doing our groceries and realising that you have forgotten to buy an ingredient you needed.
We also know the feeling of buying something you didn’t need.
Although it seems simple, a shopping list can cure both of these issues.

A lot of us like to stick with what we know. This often means we will gravitate towards the recognisable brands.
However, these items are often higher priced than generic, store brand alternatives.
